Problem Statement

In the last few years, the world of work has seen some significant changes with employees now seeking more hybrid and flexible alternatives to the conventional onsite 9-to-5 jobs. This has resulted in a rapid growth in remote work, freelancing, micro-entrepreneurship, etc. At the same time, automation and AI are making several jobs obsolete while arguably creating new ones. In this rapidly changing dynamic of work, there is a need for software that helps workers, managers, companies and entrepreneurs adapt.

What you need to build

Under our “Future of Work”challenge, participants need to submit a hack that helps enable the future of work. Your solution needs to be a mobile or web application (you’re free to use any popular frontend/backend framework like React, Angular, Express, Django, etc.) that solves a major problem faced by employees or companies in the workplace.

Some examples of these problems are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list. We encourage participants to think of more problems their hack could address.
